Welcome to the home of Reidsville, North Carolina's only Men's Garden Club. This site contains information about our club, gardening tips, Yard of The Month Winners, and much more.
Our Club was founded in 1961 after it was noticed that Reidsville had 9 Women's Gardening groups and none for the men. Sam Fairchild, Charlie Talley and other charter members formed our club as a place of fellowship and learning for our community. Originally a male only organization, women are now invited to attend our meetings and events as guests of our members. Much has changed in the last 40+ years, but a love of plants and gardening is still our primary focus. Each year our members endeavor to expand their gardening knowledge, share ideas, and promote community and civic improvement through our club projects.
